Grade 4-6 BGS students got to compete in their own mini track meet on May 22nd getting a feel for some of the events they can compete in starting in junior high. Discus, javelin, 400m, 100m, long jump and high jump were all stations that students attempted after having learned and practiced during their PE classes. Event organizer, Miss Severtson, says she's hopeful to have other schools take part next year in this upper elementary mini meet.
