Coreen Nelson

Hi!  I’m Coreen Nelson and I am excited to be a part of the Bowden Grandview family this year.  I am teaching grade 3 along with the 1 / 2 split gym. I have been teaching since 2004 and have taught at various grade levels over the years and am passionate about instilling the love of learning into children.

I live in Innisfail with my husband, Greg and my three children.  My oldest just graduated and my younger two are in grades 7 and 6.  When I’m  not teaching, you can find me doing almost anything outdoors. I spend a lot of my spare time in the winter coaching cross-country skiing with the Red Deer Nordic.  When the weather is too blustery to be outside you can find me inside, cooking, baking, spending time with family or curled up and reading a good book and snuggling my cat and dog.
