Dawn Weststrate

Hello!  My name is Dawn Weststrate and I love working in the role of Vice Principal of Bowden Grandview School!  This is my 3rd year at BGS and I am honoured to be a part of such a dedicated school community filled with committed staff, hard-working children, and supportive parents.

I have a strong background in inclusive education and am passionate about working with others to assist all students in reaching their personal success emotionally, socially, and academically. I believe that strong literacy and numeracy skills are essential for all students to flourish.

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, yoga and traveling.
